The DeCastro Sisters' biggest hit -- which has
become a standard -- is “Teach Me
Tonight.” It reached #2 on the Hit
Parade in 1954 and has sold over 5,000,000
records:
The DeCastro Sisters were very popular
entertainers in hotel showrooms and nightclubs
throughout the 1950’s and frequently shared
the bill with very big stars, including Bobby
Darin (whom they persuaded to record "Mack the
Knife").
In addition to being very good singers,
singing in tight three-part harmony, they had
a flamboyant, goofy side --
